Our Winery

Having studied viticulture, the wine production is of special importance to us.
In line with our philosophy, we avoid high yields in favour of the best possible
quality and combine both traditional and modern wine-making methods.
The meticulous selection of the grapes, gentle pressing and slow, temperature-controlled fermentatio serve
to preserve freshness, primary fruit aromas and bouquet. Using gentle filtration and a continuous
monitoring of the development in a cask, wines of varying sweetnes are produced which are
rich in extract, elegant and which show fine fruit.

 

The Development

All of our wines are 100% Riesling. The finefruit acidity of the Riesling grape and
the gentle wine-making are warrants forfresh and fruity, finely structured wines
with great maturing potential over
many, many years.
Studert-Prüm wines achieve highest
awards at national and international
competitions. The granting of the
Trophy and Double Gold Medal at the
International Wine & Spirit Competition
in England for one of our
Trockenbeerenauslese was of special
importance to us.
